Red Roof Inn Shelbyville

There's always room for upgrades and such for better peace of mind, including better security cameras, updating all electrical in all rooms, pest control is always a forefront necessity(none seen), going by building age and visible wear. Put proper locking on all access panels within all areas of hotel, due to stupidity of area people. Some good people hard working people here, so to increase revenue do the following and you shall see the blessings. Thanks for my stay.

Room was very clean, night check in clerk with brightly colored hair was very kind. I want to take away half a star for the price gouging that happens during big events but that happens across the board at all the hotels. I liked this Red Roof Inn and would recommend it highly.

A little dated, but perfectly fine honestly. The matresses are firm and worn, and that's my biggest complaint. AC works great, there's vending machines and laundry rooms, water pressure and temperature in shower is excellent. As long as the mattress doesn't bother you too much it's a good place to stay. Better deal than staying right inside Louisville for sure!

Overall okay for price, good enough, could have been better but not the worst I've seen. Room had q-tip on floor and hair in tub so not cleaned well, beds were clean and comfy tho. A/C worked.

We have stayed 2 weekends so far and have 3 more to go. My fiance is working in Louisville for the outage at the powerplant and i come up on the weekends so he does not have to drive 3 hours home. We love it here! Its very very clean, staff is super nice and all around perfect. Highly recommend!!

Over all, zero complaints. The building and amenities are a little dated, but that's not why you're here. The room I stayed in was enormous! King size bed, when I was told at least twice that it was a double. Fair price for a Friday night, and it's far enough from the highway that I didn't hear cars all night. If you need a cheap room for a crash and ride, this is for you.

The staff are friendly, showers are hot, pet friendly, and it's right next to a bunch of food spots. Far away enough from the traffic to not hear it. The maintenance man, Mr. David always greets guests when he passes by and is willing any questions as well as the front desk. It's not a red roof suite, but it's definitely a red roof inn that fits our current trip needs.
